and Long Term Care are resolved immediately and our plan
of action to resolve such issues is provided to the Ministry. Identification
of issues and their resolution is part of our Internal Quality

Results
of our most recent Annual Inspection by the Ministry of Health
Trillium
Villa had its most recent unannounced annual inspection in June
2007. There were no unmet standards at this annual review. This
shows our commitment to the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care
and to our residents and our Home.
Unmet Standards for
Reporting Period :
A complaint investigation
in May 2007 resulted in one unmet standard.
Standard A1:11,
Every resident has the right to have his or her medical records kept
confidential in accordance with the law. Criterion not met as evidenced
by: diagnosis disclosed to strangers involved with another resident.
Trillium Villa is
committed to ensuring confidentiality of all medical information. An
inservice was held for all staff regarding confidentiality of medical
information. Staff were coached on how to discuss required information
without divulging private medical information.
The follow up visit on
August 29, 2007 has returned us to a compliant status.
