Results of our most recent Annual Inspection by the Ministry of Health

On February 5-8, 2008 we had our annual in-depth review with no unmet standards being issued. This shows our commitment to the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care, our residents and our home. 

Unmet Standards for Reporting Period

The following standard was identified by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care Compliance Advisor as being unmet based on a complaint visit in August of 2007. 

B3.12  Each resident shall have opportunities and assistance to participate in programs which are appropriate to his/her interests and preferences both within the facility and in the community. 

Based on this concern, a policy related to resident goal setting was developed.  A review of assessments and reporting was completed with the staff of that department. 

RESOLVED – as of our October 2007 annual inspection.
