Each Home in our group of S&R Nursing Homes has an active Residents' Council in place. The Residents' Council, composed of residents, provides an opportunity to participate actively in the services and operations of the home in which they live.

Here is a quote from Jennifer Rodrigue, one of our Managers of Life Enrichment, “The Residents' Council presents issues that impact the home and help our team members to resolve concerns brought forward by the residents. Our Residents' Council is also a great chance to keep residents informed of activities and projects going on in the home and allows for strong communication between the managers, team members and the residents. In addition to the social aspect of our council they also support the community through fundraising events for external organizations such as the Alzheimer’s Society and the Huntington’s Society.”
